Our own Kristin Resch, CG Production Manager, found and shared this site with all of us here at Composure. I might be stealing from her list here (sorry Kristin!), but I love surfing through this endless grid of beautifully designed book covers. Full of impactful type, strong photography, beautiful illustration, and well thought out color and layout, its a quick go-to when you need a boost of creativity (or possibly a new reading recommendation)!

Graphic Exchange, the blog of Mr. Cup

Graphic Exchange was created in 2006. I think most all of us are familiar with this site, but it’s just so great I couldn’t NOT put it on my list. Work organized by topics (such as identity, print/letterpress, packaging, editorial,  and web) and found from all over the world, any designer or creative has the ability to just get lost in this beautiful blog. Its even nice to see how others present and photograph their work, from packaging to business cards. It is updated often, and there is always something new each time you return. Fabien Barral is the founder. As a fellow designer, he also posts his own work. He now has an eBook available with selected pieces from the blog and has started a crowd funding campaign to launch the Mr. Cup Magazine.

Cool Hunting

Not ‘strictly design’ A blog dedicated to uncovering the latest in design, technology, style, travel, art, and culture. Established in 2003 and based in NYC, it’s a blog with something for anyone who has a creative view of life. I always get so excited when I learn about a new artist. It often helps me see things in a different light and inspires me to push my work further. Plus, it’s always great to stay current in the world around us. There are great articles on this blog, something for everyone. I love it. I think you will too.

These are a few of my favorite design blogs to follow. I’d love to hear about your favorites too!
